Daily National Grain Market Summary

***This report will not be released on Monday, May 28, 2018 due to the holiday.
The next available report will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018.***

Compared to yesterday, cash bids for corn and wheat were mixed, soybeans were
higher, while sorghum was not quoted today. With Brazil still dry and the new-
crop season still young, the trends are currently up for both, July corn and
new-crop corn. Early Friday, USDA said 11.5 million bushels (312,000 mt) of
U.S. soybeans were sold to China for 2018-19 likely sparked by the suspension of
proposed tariffs. The trends are currently higher for all three wheats as the
market gains support from hot temperatures and drought conditions in the
southwest. Corn was from 3 1/4 cents lower to 2 3/4 cents higher. Sorghum was
not quoted. Soybeans were 3/4 to 9 3/4 cents higher. Wheat was from 1 1/4
cents lower to 15 cents higher.
